Product Training

F. Ball offers seminars and tutorials to provide architects and specifiers with the knowledge to create flooring installation specifications that produce safe, durable and aesthetically pleasing results. By understanding how to solve common flooring problems such as damp or contamination, specifiers can select the right products, first time saving valuable time and money.

CPD Seminars

The F. Ball Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar is entitled ‘Subfloor Preparation and Adhesive Selection’ and has been approved by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). F. Ball and Co. Ltd. is a member of the RIBA CPD Providers Network, allowing architects to gain CPD hours by attending our seminars.

We are pleased to hold CPD seminars for architects or any organisations involved in the specification process at their own offices upon request. The seminar consists of a presentation which lasts approximately 45 minutes, followed by a Question and Answer session.

Contact us on 01538 361633 or e-mail to arrange a CPD seminar.

Interactive tutorial

The F. Ball interactive CPD seminar is a RIBA assessed guide to floor preparation processes for architects and specifiers. The tutorial covers subjects such as the current British Standards for the installation of floorcoverings, moisture testing and control, floor smoothing and selection of the most appropriate flooring adhesive.

The online availability of the seminar, combined with the option to complete the tutorial in small sections, means that users can undertake the seminar at their own convenience.

A certificate is provided upon successful completion of a multiple choice test at the end of the tutorial.
